Dallin's first week of life...

Welcome to the world, Dallin!!  We love you and are SO glad you are a part of our family!!

It was a long day.  I went in at 9:30AM for an induction.  Finally, after getting a couple rounds of antibiotics, the pitocin was started around 5:30PM.  Dallin decided that he didn't want his birthday on the 16th like we had planned and decided to come at 12:29AM on the 17th.
Tired...but proud daddy!!
My FABULOUS OB, Dr. Sansonetti.  Really, he was great and took good care of me and my "extra" issues (of which someday I may explain more about).  While I was in labor, he stayed at the hospital until little Dallin decided to come.

Something strange out here is that my OB is the one the does the circumcisions (for his patients little boys) - not the pediatricians.  While I was in labor, Dr. Sansonetti was busy knitting this little beanie hat for Dallin!  So adorable!  All the nurses commented how fun it is to see the beanie's from my OB.  (there is a little tag on the other side that says - Baby Beanie by Dr. Bob.)  So after his circumcision, he brought him back wearing his new little beanie!

One day old...
The kids were SO excited to come meet Dallin.  Zach got to miss school on Dallin's birthday so he could come up with Grandma Clay.  Unfortunately, the only picture I have with him in it is one where I look oh so yuck!  So...here is the second day visit with Grandma, Chloe and Parker.

Two days old...and home early from the hospital!

Three days old...

Chloe's longing for a sister is still very much there, but she has fallen in LOVE with her new baby brother!
Five days old...
Soon to be best buds...
Was Parker really this small?!? (or close to it?)

Six days old...and lovin' Grandma!

I'm ONE week old TODAY!!!
(I like to pretend that I have know how to take good pictures...really - I have no clue!  But it was fun to try!)
I just absolutely love how in just one week, babies change SO much and get even cuter than they were when they were born!  Dallin is such an adorable and handsome little boy!!!  I'm definetely in love with him and love to kiss him!  He is so sweet and really is a great baby.  He doesn't quite get the point of sleeping longer than 2 hours at a time at night...but hopefully, he will want to change that.  He rarely cries unless he is hungry or getting his diaper changed and will often be wide awake for about an hour and just look around at the world around him.  I am so grateful he is healthy and happy.  Prayers were answered!
