Best big brother.....

Brothers
Zach has got to be the best big brother EVER!!! He loves to play with the younger kids and is so good with them! He is very protective of them, yet always wants to make them laugh - - especially Chloe. (she is cracking up laughing at Zach being funny)He is such a good helper when we go places. He get Chloe in and out of her carseat while I get Parker situated. He holds Chloe's hand in the parking lots and helps keep her entertained while we are shopping.
I am so grateful for that I have my Zach and that he loves his brother and sister so much. He helps me out a lot and still has that tender side that I love so much. I know he loves his family and would do anything for them. I am amazed that in about 17 days he will be starting 4th grade!!!! Where did the time go? Where did my little sidekick, buddy boy go? I hope he will always know how much I love him and want to kiss his cute cheeks off! He owes me LOTS of kisses because for the past long while, kisses have just not been cool anymore!

When Dad gets you dressed....

I would always find it quite amusing when Chris would get Karleigh dressed. I remember one time when I was taking a CNA class and had to go to an all day clinical. I had to be there early in the morning and so Chris had to be mister mom that morning. He had to get Zach and Karleigh up, dressed, fed, hair combed and out the door before he went to class. (He was in graduate school and working full time - busy guy!) I would then pick up the kids from the sitter when I got done with my clinical.

I remember going up to the room where Karleigh was napping and taking one look at her and just laughing! I had no idea how in the world Chris figured that her pants and shirt matched. They were incredibally mismatched! It was so funny to me because he never had that problem with Zach! To give him some credit, he did attempt with her hair. But....it was still quite the funny sight! (he can now master a ponytail on Chloe!)

So after church this week, he helped Chloe change. I was watching as he picked out her outfit. I just started to laugh as he pulled them out and started putting them on her. Even Chloe was thinking it looked wierd. He explained that since they both have pink in them, they matched! Chloe and I had a fun laugh together. Even Chris was laughing, knowing that picking out girl clothes is not his forte.
